The view from Twin Peaks Summit is a must see for anyone visiting San Francisco. At the top of the summit, you will be greeted by a 360 degree view of the San Francisco Bay Area. If you want to capture all of SF’s beauty, this is the place for you.

Coit Tower

Being built in 1932, Coit Tower offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Don’t worry, you won’t have any trouble finding the tower, as it has been an emblem of the San Francisco skyline since it was built. Along with its beautiful views comes a beautiful history. Coit Tower was named after Lillie Hitchcock Coit who, before passing, left behind a large sum of money that she wished to be used to add beauty to San Francisco. The money was then used to build Coit Tower, which has become a beloved part of SF.

Lands End

Lands End is another notable destination for the best views of SF. Unlike the previously listed areas, Lands End will not bring you high into the sky. However, it does offer an unbeatable view that keeps people coming back for more. On a clear day, Lands End offers a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay. As we see in photos, there are many places to get a view of the Golden Gate Bridge, but this may be an all time favorite.

Bernal Heights Park

This hillside park offers trails that lead to an amazing, 360 degree view of San Francisco. There is also a swing that you will find at the end of the trail, as pictured above. However, be aware that, with so many visitors, this swing is often having to be repaired. If it is there, though, be sure to take advantage of this thrilling way to see San Francisco.

Alamo Square

Does this look familiar? These famous houses are known as the Painted Ladies, and are a main attraction and staple piece of San Francisco. Lucky for you, we have a view for that, too! Alamo Square is a residential park that offers views of the Painted Ladies, the city, and even sunset!
